What We Offer
Services
Compassionate, individualized therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Treatment is tailored to the needs, goals, and circumstances of each person.
Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides clients with a confidential and supportive environment to explore thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, past experiences, and current challenges.
Treatment may address concerns including:
- Anxiety and excessive worry
- Depression and low motivation
- Trauma and difficult life experiences
- Grief and loss
- Stress and emotional overwhelm
- Anger and emotional regulation
- Relationship difficulties
- Family conflict
- Self-esteem and identity
- Boundaries
- Life transitions
- Communication difficulties
- Unhealthy thought patterns
- Avoidance
- Coping skills
- Personal growth and self-discovery
The objective is not merely symptom reduction. Therapy should also help clients understand themselves more deeply and develop tools they can continue using outside of the therapy room.
Child & Adolescent Therapy
Working with Children & Adolescents
Meta Mental Health & Wellness recognizes that children do not always communicate emotional distress through words.
Sometimes distress appears as:
anger, withdrawal, behavioral difficulties, defiance, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, school problems, emotional outbursts, changes in relationships, low confidence, avoidance, or difficulty regulating emotions.
Services for children and adolescents should be developmentally appropriate and engaging while helping young people learn to identify emotions, communicate needs, understand triggers, develop coping strategies, strengthen self-esteem, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships.
Whenever clinically appropriate, caregivers and family systems may also be incorporated into treatment because lasting change for a child often requires support within the child's environment.
Couples & Family Therapy
Couples & Family Therapy
Relationships are systems. When one part of a relationship changes, the entire system can be affected.
Meta Mental Health & Wellness helps couples and families identify patterns beneath recurring conflict rather than focusing exclusively on individual arguments. Therapy may explore communication, emotional connection, trust, conflict resolution, boundaries, family roles, attachment, parenting, intimacy, expectations, life transitions, and patterns that have developed over time.
The goal is to help families and couples understand one another differently, communicate more effectively, interrupt destructive cycles, and create healthier ways of relating.
Faith-Integrated Therapy
Faith & Therapy
Meta Mental Health & Wellness respects that spirituality and faith can be meaningful components of a person's identity and healing.
For clients who desire it, Christian principles and faith-based interventions may be incorporated into therapy in a clinically appropriate manner. Faith integration should always remain client-centered and voluntary.
Clients who do not desire faith-based treatment should receive the same compassionate, respectful, evidence-based care without religious expectations.
Community Support Services
Community Support Specialist
A Community Support Specialist (CSS) works alongside individuals in their natural environment — at home, in the community, and in everyday life — to help them build the practical skills and connections needed to live more independently and with greater stability.
CSS services are designed for individuals who benefit from support beyond the therapy room. A Community Support Specialist helps clients navigate daily challenges, access community resources, develop life skills, manage appointments and responsibilities, and work toward personal goals in a hands-on, real-world context.
Community support may focus on:
- Building daily living and independent living skills
- Connecting to community resources and social services
- Medication management support and appointment coordination
- Employment readiness and vocational support
- Social skill development and community integration
- Crisis prevention and safety planning
- Housing stability and basic needs navigation
- Support for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI)
CSS services complement clinical therapy by bridging the gap between the treatment setting and the realities of daily life. Support is individualized, strengths-based, and focused on helping each person move toward their goals.
"Bridging the gap between the treatment setting and the realities of daily life."
Targeted Case Management
Targeted Case Management
Targeted Case Management (TCM) provides structured coordination of services for individuals with complex behavioral health needs. A case manager works to ensure that all aspects of a client's care — medical, mental health, social, and community — are connected and working together.
TCM is particularly valuable for individuals who are navigating multiple systems of care, experiencing barriers to accessing services, or who need consistent support to remain stable and engaged in treatment. The case manager serves as a central point of contact, advocate, and coordinator.
Targeted Case Management may include:
- Comprehensive needs assessment and service planning
- Coordination between mental health, medical, and social service providers
- Assistance accessing benefits, housing, and entitlement programs
- Monitoring progress toward treatment and recovery goals
- Linkage to community resources and natural supports
- Crisis coordination and follow-up after hospitalizations
- Advocacy on behalf of the individual within service systems
TCM is not therapy — it is coordination. But for individuals whose lives involve significant complexity, having a skilled case manager can make the difference between falling through the cracks and receiving the full support they need.
