About Meta Mental Health & Wellness
More Than a Diagnosis.
A Place to Begin.
At Meta, we believe you are more than your symptoms, your trauma, your relationships, or your current circumstances. Therapy here is a collaborative journey — one that honors where you have been while helping you build the insight, skills, and confidence to move toward where you want to be.
Our Philosophy
Our Philosophy
The name Meta is rooted in the idea of change, growth, reflection, and transformation. Our visual identity tells the story of metamorphosis — a journey that begins not with certainty, but with courage.
We believe that a person's difficulties rarely exist independently of the systems surrounding them. Family relationships, childhood experiences, school, work, culture, community, trauma, expectations, and life transitions can all influence emotional wellness. Therapy at Meta is not about labeling what is wrong — it is about exploring what happened, what patterns developed, what is happening around you, and what healthier could look like.
The Questions We Explore
The Questions We Explore Together
Rather than asking only "What is wrong?", therapy at Meta explores deeper questions:
- "What happened?"
- "What patterns developed because of those experiences?"
- "What is happening around you?"
- "What is this emotion trying to communicate?"
- "What do you need?"
- "What would healthier look like?"
- "What needs to change to help you get there?"

Clinical Experience
Jessica Harris is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through emotional, relational, behavioral, and life challenges.
Jessica holds a Master's degree in School Counseling from Indiana University Southeast and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Campbellsville University. Her background in both education and family systems provides a unique perspective on mental health.
Jessica recognizes that a client's difficulties rarely exist independently of the systems surrounding them. Her therapeutic philosophy extends beyond asking "What is wrong?" — instead exploring the deeper patterns, experiences, and circumstances that shape a person's emotional world.
Her clinical style combines compassion and validation with psychoeducation, accountability, practical skill-building, and deeper therapeutic exploration. She believes clients should understand the why behind the tools they are learning — not simply be given worksheets or coping skills without context.
